Corrections

If a figure on this site is wrong — a wind rating, a warranty term, a price range that has moved — send the correction with a source and it will be updated with a visible date stamp. Specific and checkable beats general. “Your motor warranty figure for the mid-tier class is out of date, here is the current warranty document” gets fixed same week.

Manufacturers and Retailers

If you make or sell freestanding aluminum louvered pergolas and want a product considered, send the full specification sheet including alloy grade and temper, published wind rating with the loaded condition stated, snow load, IP rating on the electronics, warranty terms for frame and mechanism separately, and whether an engineering letter is available for permitting.

What will not work: a press release, a request to remove a “what to watch” note, or an offer to pay for placement. The editorial policy explains why.

Readers

If you have installed one of these and something on this site does not match your experience, that is genuinely useful and we would like to hear it — particularly on the things documentation never captures well: how the motor sounds after two winters, whether the drainage channels clog, whether the manual override was as accessible as advertised.
